We will gather with the intention of retrieving the vital parts of our being that have separated from us in order to survive moments of trauma with out experiencing the full impact of pain.
Valentine’s (Voice Shrine) vision is to explore, empower and unveil the multi faceted dimension of the voice and the self as a divine sonic instrument. Learning to utilize, tune and express yourself as a sonic instrument elevates the octave and experience of daily life and all those we touch (and transform!) within it. Voice Shrine offers a unique and expressive platform to explore the multidimensional realms of the voice, individual sound, sound as a healing modality and sound healing instruments.
The Yoga practice with Christie will begin with grounding movements, twists and hip-openers, connecting us to the first two chakras, our roots. Once grounded in our intentions, we will explore an expanded version of ourselves, moving into backbends to connect to the fourth and fifth chakras, opening the heart and throat as we find our Expansive Voice. To further heighten your soul retrieval experience, Christie and Valentine will incorporate sound, chants, and singing throughout your practice.
